Couple decades ago, customers relied on word of mouth, window shopping, and printed directories and brochures to find local businesses. Today, online reviews are a natural extension of “word-of-mouth” marketing and are among the crucial factors that can inspire a purchase decision. However according to ABC, 30% of online reviews are fake.
Recently I launched a new website – Review This Product, with the opportunity of customers to voice their opinions and elaborate upon past experiences with service providers. Linking honest reviews together comprising of price, value and job execution means potential future customers can explore a range of service providers, allowing them to specifically select the right provider based on their own needs.
I would like to promote mainly our local businesses at NO COST to the business owners with the main goal of adding authentic reviews. My objective is to attract new customers and share information within the community by adding business’ name(logo) and brief description to the website for customers to add a review (with or without images and videos).
Multiple third party studies have concluded that some products on Amazon are heavily influenced by fake or paid-for reviews. Review this Product aims to give all online shoppers a safe space to collaborate and read detailed, unbiased reviews and experiences of users just like you. Each stage is essential for an honest review. From the purchase, reception and usage of what is bought.
